Dayton Air Show

On Saturday, June 23, Vault 6936 attended the Dayton Air Show with our robot. We were joined by three area FRC teams: Innovators Robotics, 3138, The R.O.C.K., 144, and Lakota Robotics, 1038. FIRST® North Championship

From April 25-28, Vault 6936 competed at the FIRST® North Championship in Detroit, MI. We earned our way into the prestigious event by winning the Rookie All-Star Award, which recognizes great potential in a first-year team. WOW Alliance District Championship

On May 19, Vault 6936 was invited to compete at the WOW Alliance District Championship at Otterbein University in Columbus, OH. This truly was an honor for our team, as only 32 teams from across our region were invited to compete. Week 7 Update

Our seventh week was a blast! Vault 6936 went out to the Miami Valley Regional competition and performed wonderfully for a rookie team. We had a lot of fun competiting and talking with other teams, talking strategy with other allaince members, and viewing the wonders of science and innovation compacted into one stadium floor. Week 5

Vault 6936 Update 2/11/2018 Hello Vault 6936! Our kids have been working extremely hard for the past six weeks, and the fruits of their labor have paid off. Our competition robot is completed, and all we have to do is test it out on our makeshift field. The programming team also has to finish debugging the final portions of their code. Week 4

This week we have made significant progress with the robot and team growth. The robot is nearing completion. Soon the robot will be bagged and put into storage until competing at the Nutter Center February 28-March 3. Be sure to come out and support! Week 3

During week 3, Vault 6936 has accomplished many things involving their FRC competition this coming March. The CAD team, this week, added more towards the robot on their CAD software while also fixing inconsistencies involving the measurements. The Build Team has finished the official base of the robot, and they are also getting closer to finishing the lifting system. Information on FIRST Competitions

FIRST® CompetitionVault 6936's first regional FRC competition, the Miami Valley Regional Competition, was hosted at the Nutter Center in Greene County from March 1-3. We competed with over 61 teams at the competition and placed 34th but Southwest Ohio's eigth regional competition, will be held during Feburary 28th - March 3rd at the Wright State Nutter Center. January 19, 2018

Throughout this week, we have made significant progress in the robot design and the prototyping of various designs. Additionally, we have seen great progress in the programming of the base robot. A reminder that we have a public outreach opportunity tomorrow at Robots Amongst Us at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.
